You've got to love it when inventors think up the most ridiculous ideas.  This is a picture I found of some guy's idea of a new way to mow the lawn.

I guess you're supposed to be able to cut the grass as you just stroll across your lawn.... but I can't imagine it would work like that in practice.  I'm envisioning that you'd have to do some kind of wacky twisting dance all over the place in order for them to actually work.

And I can't see any chance that an attempt to use these shoes won't result in a trip to the hospital!

But I suppose that's all part of the fun of the experience!  Who wants to cut grass the old fashioned boring way?
