So far I've been playing for the better part of an hour, my best round so far scored 806 It's kind of like Moon Lander except instead of trying to land you're trying to avoid obstacles. See how far you can go! Be Nifty! View Entire Entry and Comments 0 comment(s) on this topic Psychonauts! Aug 30 2007 12:00am Submitted By: Parrot Category: Fun Type: Games-Interactive I wanted to take this opportunity to recommend one of my favourite computer games: Psychonauts! ![]() It's a very innovative and engaging 3D adventure game with platform elements. The characters, dialogue, and detail is above and beyond most other games that I've played. And you can download a playable demo: Psychonauts Download Links Page The demo actually contains a surprisingly large amount of gameplay value. It entails the entire first level of the game, which is pretty challenging. It's a 400mb download so you'll want to have a fast connection if you're going to go for it. The game isn't sold in stores anymore, but if you look hard enough you should be able to find other ways of getting it. I understand it's got quite a dedicated following, but it wasn't heavily advertised so a large percentage of people don't know about it. Hopefully you'll get some enjoyment out of it. Be Nifty! The premise is simple, move the smileys into their same coloured doorways. Gameplay starts off slow and easy, but gets harder at each level. See how far you can go without being overwhelmed: Download The Great Smiley Migration Instructions: The leader of the smilies has betrayed his people and sold his loyalty to a chain of discount stores for the simple privilege of playing their mascot in TV commercials. He's sold the rights to all the smiley ancestral lands for the building of new stores, forcibly evicting smilies of all colours so that they must now frantically search for new homes. It's up to you to help guide the smilies to their new abodes. Good Luck! GAME PLAY: Smilies will periodically come onto the playing field. You must select the smiley by using the space bar, then guide him by using the arrow keys. You cannot reverse the direction that the smiley is going in. When more than one smiley is in play, use the space bar to switch between them. Guide the smiley to it's same-coloured doorway. Don't let it hit the walls or any other smilies. You get 10 points per smiley brought safely home in round 1, and 5 points are added to that total each round. You lose 5 points (and 1 life) for each smiley that dies. The amount of points you lose also increases by 5 for each level. Periodically bonuses like hamburgers and diamonds will show up on the game board. Guide a smiley to one of these in order to reap their benefits. A diamond will give you 40 points, and a hamburger will give you 1 extra life. Smilies will start to come out more frequently for each level as you progress. The game ends when you finally become overwhelmed and loose all your lives. The object of the game is to try to rack up as many points as you can before that View Entire Entry and Comments 0 comment(s) on this topic Miniclip Games Aug 12 2007 12:00am Submitted By: Parrot Category: Fun Type: Games-Interactive include('arcade.php'); ?> View Entire Entry and Comments 0 comment(s) on this topic The Cursor Theif Aug 03 2007 12:00am Submitted By: Parrot Category: Funny Type: Games-Interactive I found this extremely cute little cursor theif on a website called "Total Insanity" - I knew that I had to feature it here.
